Supplemental Quarterly Pooling Tip – August 2023

Thousands-Block or CO Code Has Not Been Placed In Service by the Part 4/4A Due Date


When a thousands-block or CO code has not been placed in service by the Part 4/4A Due Date, proceed with one of the following:

 

·         If the thousands-block or CO code is in-service, submit the Part 4/4A directly to the appropriate regulatory authority and cc: support@nanpa.com. In-service is when local routing information appears in the LERG™ Routing Guide, and one or more Telephone Numbers (TN) within the CO code or thousands-block has been Assigned to an end user (FCC 00-104, ¶240).  

 

To obtain a copy of the Part 4 and Part 4A forms go to: https://access.atis.org/apps/group_public/documents.php?view=.  Download ATIS-0300119, Thousands-Block (NPA-NXX-X) & Central Office Code (NPA-NXX) Administration Guidelines, the Part 4 or Part 4A forms can be found in the TBCOCAG Forms and Appendices folder, open the folder then download.

·         If the thousands-block or CO code is no longer needed, submit a disconnect request.  

 

·         If the thousands-block or CO code is not in-service but is still needed, an extension may be requested from the appropriate regulatory authority. A list of the regulatory authority reclamation contacts is located on the https://nationalpooling.com/ website under Reclamation/Reclamation Contacts. When requesting an extension, cc: support@nanpa.com
