Quarterly Pooling Tip – January 2024

Porting of TNs within Pristine Available Blocks 

NANPA has been notified of porting of TNs within pristine Available blocks that were added to the inventory from a Pool Replenishment or LRN request.  Per section 3.1.5 of the Thousands-Block (NPA-NXX-X) & Central Office Code (NPA-NXX) Administration Guidelines (TBCOCAG), “SPs shall assign numbers only from their own existing Service Provider Inventory. Any Thousands-Block(s) (NPA-NXX-X) donated at pool start up, subsequently donated, or returned to the Industry Inventory Pool, becomes part of the Pooling Administrator’s Inventory and is no longer part of a Service Provider’s Inventory.”
